From the Artist

“The emotional punch that color can give is wildly exciting to me and, I hope, to my audience. My love for that impact pushes me to experiment with combinations of media and thought in order to create intensity of mood. Abstract expressionism allows me to explore freely, to find inspiration and progression, and to recapture a child’s innocence for the purpose of unleashing the creative process.”

Nancy Towne-Schultz’ landscape, interior, and more recent mixed-media abstract expressionistic pieces are joyful and exuberant, incorporating varied elements of Los Angeles cultures. Her work is in private and public collections in Arizona, California, Florida and Kentucky. She studied at Ohio Northern University and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.

Her paintings have been exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Sales and Rental Gallery; at the Phoenix Gallery in Park City, Utah; at Modern Masters Fine Art in Palm Desert, California; and at other locations in New York, Chicago, and Australia.
